Naš prevoditelj Mirza Purić gostujući je urednik temata pod nazivom „Poets and Power: Language of Resilience from Central and Eastern Europe“ (Pjesnici i moć: jezik otpora u centralnoj i istočnoj Europi) u novom broju magazina EuropeNow.

Osnivačice i urednice, Selma Asotić (SWW) i Marina Veličković, predstavit će koncept Bone i govoriti o objavljenim radovima. Pored Selme Asotić, čija je pjesma uvrštena u prvi broj, čitateljice i čitatelji će imati priliku pročitati dvije pjesme još jedne članice SWW-a Dijale Hasanbegović koja otvara i zatvara prvo izdanje Bone.

2017

30 May. Dijala Hasabegović's anticipated debut poetry collection, "Neće biti djece za rat" ("Kids for War"), is out! The promotion is being held at Zvono in Sarajevo on 30 May. Find interviews with Dijala in Oslobodjene and Urban Magazin. She also spoke with Radio Belgrade 2's Oko Balkana. Read poems from the collection in Strane. Of the book, Mehmed Begić says, "...This book is a darkened heart that refuses to give up on light. This becomes perfectly clear after the first poem. I am happy it exists, and I am happy to know where to find it. And when I feel strong enough to handle the scarier of my worlds and the darknesses they hide, I will convey to them a line from one of the poems from this book, as the ultimate message, and a very personal threat: You cannot have my kids for war!” We are honored to call Dijala friend and to continue to learn from her fine, ground-breaking work.

1 March. SWW translator Mirza Purić is guest editor of a special feature called "Poets and Power: Language of Resilience from Central and Eastern Europe" in the new issue of EuropeNow Journal. Poets whose work has been published in NEMA, founded and edited by Matea Šimić, will present poems via audio. “Poetry won't save the world,” Selma says, “that much we know. But it can still de-automatize perception, disturb, and rattle. I just want people to be exposed to the anti-normalizing air of poetry.”

8 September. NEMA continues its tour in Zagreb at booksa.hr.
